We've been cleaning Brighton Beach for two years, and in that time we've dealt with the effects of the millions of people who enjoy it every year, leaving their litter behind.
This year we want to do even more to stop that litter getting there in the first place and so we've had a quirky series of posters designed for the start of our spring/summer anti-littering campaign!
Now we need your help to cover Brighton & Hove with our message in time for the busy season:
Can you help us fund-raise or find sponsorship for printing and advertising costs?
Do you have advertising space? A shop window? An A-board outside your premises?
Can you volunteer to help us contact local businesses?
Do you have other ideas about promotions?
Check out our designs - you won't want to mess with this angry seagull!
There isn't enough anti-littering messaging on Brighton beach or around the city, and unfortunately in 2019 we still need to remind people not to litter! We need more visuals and we need them fast, before the influx of people on our next sunny weekend.
By seeing these posters all over the beach and city, some visitors will think twice about tossing their litter or leaving it behind. When out-of-towners arrive at the train station our posters will remind them to respect our environment while they're here.
You know we like to keep things fun and quirky! This is a serious message delivered in a sometimes tongue-in-cheek way, so people are more likely SHARE, SHARE, SHARE on social media - massively extending the reach of our anti-littering campaign!
We have the potential to reach millions of tourists and locals over this summer alone! We just need support from local businesses and local people to help us find funding and/or pledge to display a poster or A-board! Please get in touch.
Huge thanks to Clare Disano for bringing this idea to life with these fabulous designs!
